Barq Booster

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Barq Booster virtual private network ("VPN") service, websites, applications, and related offerings (collectively, the "Service") provided by Barq Booster ("Barq Booster," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, downloading our apps, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Barq Booster provides subscription-based VPN connectivity designed to help protect your privacy on the internet and improve network performance for gaming, streaming, and general browsing. Features, server locations, and availability may change from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@barqbooster.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Paddle as Merchant of Record

Paid subscriptions are sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record (MoR) for all orders placed through our checkout. This means:

  • Paddle is the seller of record for your subscription; your contract for payment is with Paddle.
  • Paddle handles payment processing, billing, order fulfillment, invoices and receipts, calculates and remits applicable sales tax or VAT where required, and handles payment-related customer inquiries.
  • Charges appear on your statement under Paddle or the payment descriptor shown at checkout.
  • Barq Booster provides the VPN software and service; Paddle provides billing infrastructure only.

Subscription plans (e.g., monthly, quarterly, or yearly) renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You may manage or cancel your subscription through the Paddle customer portal linked from your account or receipt email, or by contacting Paddle support as indicated on your invoice.

Price changes will apply to subsequent billing periods after reasonable notice where required by law. Promotional pricing may be subject to additional terms disclosed at purchase.

4. Refund Policy

Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, refund requests are processed by Paddle in accordance with their policies and applicable consumer laws.

  • 7-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with Barq Booster, you may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of your initial purchase of a paid subscription, provided you have not violated these Terms. This guarantee applies once per customer for a first-time paid subscription unless otherwise stated at checkout.
  • After the 7-day window, refunds are generally not available for partial billing periods or unused time, except where required by law or expressly approved by Paddle.
  • To request a refund within the guarantee period, contact support@barqbooster.com with your order or receipt details, or use the refund option in your Paddle receipt or customer portal.
  • Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in suspension of your account pending investigation.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory refund rights under the laws of your country of residence.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
  • Send spam, malware, or conduct denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or unauthorized penetration testing;
  • Distribute child sexual abuse material, terrorism-related content, or other illegal material;
  • Infringe intellectual property, harass others, or engage in fraud;
  • Resell, sublicense, or share account access except as expressly permitted;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or overload our infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, abuse, or risk to the network, with or without notice where permitted by law.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, branding, and documentation, is owned by Barq Booster or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the client applications for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. A VPN may not make you anonymous; you remain responsible for your conduct and compliance with applicable laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BARQ BOOSTER AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PADDLE FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Barq Booster from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach, non-payment (as determined by Paddle), or operational reasons. Sections that by nature should survive (including billing disputes handled by Paddle, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Barq Booster's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Payment disputes related to charges are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where your consent is required by law.

13. Contact

For questions about the Service or these Terms, contact support@barqbooster.com. For billing, invoices, or refunds, contact Paddle using the details on your receipt or visit paddle.com.
