1. Paddle as Merchant of Record
All transactions, subscription sales, and payments for Barq Booster are processed through Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates ("Paddle"), acting as our Merchant of Record (MoR).
This means:
- Paddle is the legal seller of the subscription and the party responsible for processing payments, billing, and refunds.
- Your payment statement will show charges under Paddle, and any invoice or receipt you receive is issued by Paddle.
- All refund requests, currency conversions, sales tax or VAT calculations, and billing support are managed by Paddle in cooperation with Barq Booster.
2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for initial purchases of our paid VPN plans. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, you are eligible for a full refund if you request it within seven (7) calendar days from the exact date and time of your initial purchase.
Please note:
- This money-back guarantee applies only to the first-time purchase of a subscription plan.
- Each customer is entitled to a maximum of one (1) refund under this policy. Subsequent accounts created by the same individual or organization will not qualify for a refund.
3. Refund Exceptions and Non-Refundable Items
We do not offer refunds outside the 7-day money-back guarantee window. Specifically, no refunds will be issued under the following circumstances:
- Partial Months / Unused Time: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods, unused subscription duration, or mid-month cancellations.
- Subscription Renewals: Renewal payments are automatic and non-refundable. You must cancel your subscription before the scheduled renewal date. If you fail to cancel in time and are charged for a renewal, you are not eligible for a refund unless required by local consumer protection laws.
- Terms of Service Violations: No refunds will be provided for accounts terminated, suspended, or restricted due to violations of our Terms of Service (including, but not limited to, abuse of the service, spam, distribution of malware, port scanning, or other illegal activities).
4. How to Request a Refund
You can request a refund within the 7-day eligibility window using one of the following methods:
- Via Paddle Receipt: Open the email containing your Paddle purchase receipt and click on the refund link or customer portal link to submit a request directly through Paddle.
- Via Email Support: Contact our support team directly at support@barqbooster.com. Please provide the email address associated with your Barq Booster account and your Paddle order reference number (transaction ID) to help us process your request quickly.
5. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved by Paddle or Barq Booster, it is processed immediately. However, the time it takes for the funds to appear on your account depends on your payment method and financial institution. Typically, credit card refunds take 5 to 10 business days to clear, while other payment methods may vary.
